I am home from school sick today so I thought that I would still post and decided that I would share the first in a series of posts about some of my favorite beauty YouTubers. I love and watch so many so I had to break it up into groups. I love them all and other than this first grouping they are in no particular order....this first group are my favorites that I really always look for their video releases and they are my go to Vloggers. After this first group I found it hard to differentiate how much I love the others and they are all great otherwise I wouldn't subscribe (and I have subscribed to some in the past, but after watching them have decided they weren't my speed). So let's get this started....

1. Andrea Matillano - 244,716 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

I started watching her when I was debating on subscribing to BoxyCharm and I was looking for videos about some of the things that they are likely to have in their boxes. I have fallen in love with how down to earth she is in her videos and how she gives totally equal love to high end and drugstore brands. As a makeup newbie I have also appreciated tweeting her and receiving a response from her instead of never hearing anything! I have also loved her declutters, everyday makeup drawer, and project pan. Such a great vlogger and I highly recommend her channel. Below is her last video and I really really can't stress about how much I enjoy her videos.

2. Jessica Braun - 475,222 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

After looking at Andrea's channel I saw the list of other channels that were similar listed on the right side and started to check them out. Hers caught my attention because she just appears visually relatable and approachable. I watched several of her videos and loved how real she is and how she doesn't edit the videos to seem like so overly produced and perfect they are which made her that much more relatable to me. Also I am a teacher and when I realized that she is a teacher as well and still makes such high quality videos. She has also exchanged tweets with me and shared her thoughts and answered my "Twitter" questions. I also love how when she does her videos it really feels like she is talking to you and not at you.

3. Thataylaa - 567,358 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

She was recommended to me by a friend who is a beauty fanatic like I am. I love her videos and how she doesn't have the perfect skin and doesn't try to hide it. She is very honest about her skin and imperfections and the challenges makeup wise that she has to deal with. I also really enjoy her series that she does (not sure about how frequently) called "15 Days of Foundation" where she reviews 15 different foundations and posts a video for them each day alternating between drugstore and high-end. I also love that this series is not just about makeup but also about donating money and time and things to women's shelters. She takes her following and puts it towards a good cause!

4. Emilynoel83 - 952,225 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

I found her channel and have really enjoyed the content, but the clear and concise way she speaks and the descriptions she uses make her super easy to listen to. I learned that she used to be a news anchor and that really explained why she was so soothing to watch. Her info is always clear and easy to follow and she shares great looks from more neutral looks to very bright and colorful looks. I have loved the videos that she has done where she shares multiple looks from the same palette, comparing dupes half on each side of her face, and her yearly Emily Awards!

5. Casey Holmes - 1,625,327 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

Casey Holmes cracks me up so much when I watch her videos. The content is solid and knowledgeable and she has some of the greatest facial expressions that make me laugh throughout her videos. She is from Georgia and that southern charm and sweetness comes through in all her videos. She has done a couple of collabs one being a Smashbox Spotlight palette, and the other a collab with Palladio on a trio of liquid lipsticks. Her popular Monthly Favorites and Makeup Dupes playlists are a great place to start if you want to know more about this YouTuber.

6. Samantha March - 50,472 subscribers (when I started researching for this series of posts)

I discovered Samantha March's channel while I was looking for more smaller YouTube channels to follow since I have found that the smaller channels in general are ones that I prefer. ONe video later and I was hooked! I have only watch 6 or so of her videos but like several of the other ladies on this list she is super relatable. Also when I have makeup questions I send her a Tweet and she responds! I also like that she has interests outside just makeup. She has a book based blog ChickLitPlus.com . Her channel has more reviews, Top 10 lists and less about technique. For me you follow different channels for different reasons and I follow hers for the opinions on makeup products and her thoughts and reviews are always 100% spot on. Can't wait to watch even more of her videos!
