I wanted to try to do a look today featuring as much of one brand as I could. I have a ton of e.l.f especially now that I went to the store and added and HD setting powder to my collection. As far as the e.l.f. product have worn I have loved them all so I was more than willing to spend the money on the powder without looking at reviews and researching it a bit. All of the products were wonderful! The foundation and primer combo is my favorite and I can see becoming my go to. The mineral infused primer makes a good foundation look even better. The powder set my under eye super well and that was important since the NYX concealer that I was using is super thick and sticky and has to be set to look right. I am also so in love with the baked highlighters (I have 3 of the colors!) and find them to be super easy to apply and they remain vivid and shiny all day long! Finally the lidlock primer definitely seems to help hold my eye shadow down. I haven't used it a ton since it is still relatively new to my collection, but I love what it has done so far.

I have tried colorful eye looks a couple of times now and this one was by far my most vibrant. I was nervous about it, but I took the leap and tried it. I must say the biggest thing about this that impressed me was that for the price the LA Girl foundation was soft and creamy and generally went on pretty easily. What was a bit frustrating is that I kept having to go over it and tap it on with my finger because it was patchy. I am going to keep working with this during application and see if using a spray with it will help a bit, but this product is definitely worth the effort.

First forgive my hair! I had it in a braid and the braid came out and then I had recess duty and it was super windy. Combine that with naturally wavy hair and no hairspray I looked like I had frizzies all over the place! The face products held up really well. On the drive home from work I noticed that I could still clearly see my highlighter shining away on my cheekbone. I also could still see the shine from the Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Bronzer in Hot Summer Love was still shining and giving me that bronzy glow. Combine all of that with the Pretty Vulgar blush and I was feeling my face look today. The Makeup Revolution Bronzer I loved so much on the first try today that I want to get the other bronzer in in Summer of Love. It has also made me super curious about wanting to try the Triple Baked Blush and Highlighters in the same packaging. If they were in Ulta I would buy it right away without a second thought, but since it appears to only be sold online I am waiting for a deal where shipping is free or that I have enough money to spend to get the items shipped free. For some reason the shipping thing is just a hangup for me in general when ordering online. I will either wait for a free shipping deal or wait until I can make an order large enough to get free shipping.

My eye look is still super pigmented and I love that part of it, but it was patchy patchy patchy. One thing that I want to do is keep trying this shadow in this color but the purple color LA Girl Palette as well and work with it a bit more. My concern is that does the vividness of the color make it more likely to be patchy....or do I need to keep working on how I apply it...so I am not sold one way or the other, but I liked it enough to keep wanting to try to make it work.
