If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do.

I continued my experimentation using colors in my eye looks and I think that this is my best effort yet! I used a purple palette from LA Girl called "Mesmerizing" and I am LOVING IT! The many shades of purple plus how well it goes with my eyes. I was so excited when I posted the pics of the initial look on Social Media and got tons of compliments from my friends. I even got a couple of direct messages from friends about how much they liked this look. I also continue to be beyond impressed with the staying power of my shadows with the different eye shadow primers that I use: e.l.f. Lid Lock, Revlon Eye Primer and LA Girls Eye Shadow Primer stick. Also I have continued to try to mix up the combination of face products that I am using with my looks to see what products work best together.

The other new thing is that I used a new foundation today that I purchased yesterday: Rimmel Lasting Finish 25HR Breathable Foundation in Classic Ivory. I love this foundation in one key way more than many of my others because of the application process. All of my others ones have a pump, nothing, or a paddle...and this one has a large doe foot. This made it so much easier to apply the foundation on my face in stripes and blend it out into my skin. Also I have solely used a beauty sponge to apply my foundation and blend it, but today was the first time that I ever used a brush to apply it. It is too soon for me to say whether I like it better or not, but what I can say is that it was a super easy process and I liked the finish product a lot!

Eyes: e.l.f. Lid Lock Eye Shadow Primer, LA Girl Eye Lux in Mesmerizing, NYX Matte Liquid Liner in Black, Essence False Lash Effect in Black

Face: essence Fresh & Fit Healthy Glow Pore Minimizing Effect Primer, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25HR Breathable Foundation in Classic Ivory, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Light, Coty Airspun, Physcians Formula Butter Bronzer in Light, Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Apricot Glow, Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit in Rebel Rose

So as I continue to expand my makeup collection I continue to find myself spending a lot of time...and money at Ulta. I bet that I hit platinum status by the middle of the summer or start of the school year. Much time has been spent there lately since they just ended their 21 Days of Beauty and then followed that right away with the Spring Haul sale. I purchased some things the first week of the Spring Haul sale but had to go back the second week, which started today, and had to pick up two things that were on sale for 40% off ... the Physicians Formula Butter Blush and Butter Highlighter! I had my eye on these since I bought the Butter Bronzer a month or so ago and wanted to try the other products in the line. I can't wait to put them to the test and see how they work for me. Also I bought a couple of essence cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks and an Ulta Butter Gloss that was on clearance.
