***So sorry that I didn't post this yesterday! After a day full of state assessments looking at computer screens I was so exhausted that I laid down to watch some videos on YouTube and next thing I know my hubby was shaking me awake to eat dinner.***

I was so excited to start today's look because I was going to attempt a "halo" eye. Well the look did not workout the way I wanted it to at all. Now that has nothing to do with the Makeup Revolution shadow which looked beautiful and blended really well and the colors were super pigmented. The problem I ran into is that the color is used in the center to get the halo effect was not different enough from the reddish pink color I used around it so the halo did not show up really well. I used the LA Girl foundation again and it is super matte which is not really my thing I have been learning, but I get such great coverage that I am able to deal with this by using a setting spray that gives me a slight glow. This helps with the drying feeling that you might get from the foundation. I also used the e.l.f. bronzer and I love how subtle it is and that is why I bought it for a more subtle bronze glow without being too brown or orange.
I am also not sure how much I still love this Maybelline primer. It didn't feel as good on my skin as it had in previous uses. I am still loving my essence Fit & Awake Primer and my e.l.f. Mineral Infused primer much better and want to add a couple more of the e.l.f. primers to my collection since that is my #1 favorite of my 3 primers. I also really enjoyed the combination on my face of the e.l.f. bronzer with the Milani blush and Makeup Revolution highlighter. I am trying to experiment a bit with the combo of bronzer, blush and highlighters I use to find the combinations of products that work best together. I don't want to get into a rut, but I also don't want to use a combination of those 3 products that look ridiculous together.

The makeup held up really well throughout the day and clearly the Makeup Revolution eye shadow is totally worthy of all of the positive reviews because it held up super well without any fading or creasing. On my lips I used the Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit and I like the look but it seemed to dry and crack a bit so I would definitely wear this color again and I liked the staying power before reapplication was needed, but I would wear it with a gloss or something on top that would take away the drying feeling.
