If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Also follow me on Twitter @crrobb and on Instagram @cristinarobb1980 where I post about 4 times throughout the day.

I loved today's look! It had several of my tride and true, holy grail, ride or die brands but also featured my eye shadow palette from Lorac that I found at Marshalls. It definitely was unlike anything that I have in my collection and I like the eye look that I came up with using it. I tried the Physcians Formula Highlighter again and after the debacle of not knowing that it was a cream to powder formula it looked so good when I put it on today. I am still working with how to apply it the best but I love the glow and how it looks on my skin. I also used the e.l.f. Bronzer again today for only the second time and I love love love the subtle glow that it gives to my skin without being to severe in color or orange. I also used the Lorac Pro Powder Cheek Stain for the first time and I don't know why I didn't figure this, but it is so so so pigmented and I didn't tap off the excess so I had to really blend it and use some of the finishing powder to tone it down just a bit so that was my bad!

Eyes: e.l.f. Lid Lock Eye Shadow Primer, Lorac Black Eye Pencil, Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect, Lorac Pirates of the Caribbean Eye Shadow Palette

Face: e.l.f. Mineral Infused Primer, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation in Nude Ivory, bh Cosmetics Total Coverage Concealer in #102, Maybelline Fit Me! Finishing Powder in Fair/Light, e.l.f. Bronzer in Sunkissed, Lorac Pro Powder Cheek Stain in Rosy Glow, Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter in Champagne, e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set, Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick in Optimist

OMG WOW! The look lasted so well throughout the day! The eye shadow faded just a tiny bit but it looked super fantastic throughout the day. I also think that I am finally figuring out the butter highlighter because I could really really see it at the end of the day and it didn't fade at all. The blush also held up well and again the bronzer was super subtle which is what I was going for and prefer as far as the look I did today.I am continuing to really really love the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara and I think it is my favorite of all the ones I have so far. I am excited to get and try out their Volume Stylist Mascara soon too!

After going the entire weekend with no makeup on I really was excited to try out some of the new things that I got at Marshalls. I was super excited because I have not had any high end products in my collection but I also still feel pretty good about it because I bought it at a drugstore price. The eye shadow was super pigmented and went on very creamy and I was excited to use one of the more subtle shimmers like the sea foam green color which showed up so beautifully. I had a super hard time deciding which shimmer to use because there was a duo chrome shimmer and several other shimmer colors that I was super intrigued by and I can't wait to continue to explore this palette and the looks I can create with it. One thing that I was surprised by is that while the quality of the shadows overall was fantastic the pan size for each one was small. For the price you get great quality but a very small quantity so you need to ask yourself when shopping for makeup do you want slightly higher quality (in my opinion) for far less product or more product that is SLIGHTLY lower in quality. I would rather get high quality drugstore brands for less money myself. I love my bh Cosmetics stuff and my Makeup Revolution stuff as well as my other things like NYX, essence and e.l.f.
