If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Also follow me on Twitter @crrobb and on Instagram @cristinarobb1980 where I post about 4 times throughout the day.

Yesterday was rough and busy in my apartment so I apologize for not getting this post up last night. We are getting a new pet rabbit today so we had to clean out our previous rabbits cage and stuff so we just got such a late start to dinner and I was so wiped that I just passed out when I laid down. I had been doing a lot of colorful looks lately or deeper darker looks so I wanted something a bit more light, subtle and natural. I have only used the NYX palettes once previously and they work so well together because the Lid Lingerie is all Matte and the Cosmic Metals is Shimmers so they work great as a duo. I messed up my eye liner a bit but I am still working on keeping my hand steady and not stopping like 5 times while I apply it. I tried putting on my foundation with a brush but that was a disaster so I used a sponge instead and it turned out so so so good! I added a light second layer because I was feeling so tired I wanted to brighten and even out my skin tone. I also did a light dusting of the essence cosmetics Matt Bronzing Powder all over my face a bit and used a little bit more on my cheek bones. I used my the Milani Blush in Luminoso and built it up just a little bit and the same thing with the Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Radiant Lights. I have been feeling so worn out at the end of the year so I wanted to add a bit more color and glow to my face so I didn't look so worn down.

Eyes: Revlon Eye Shadow Primer, NYX Lid Lingerie Eye Shadow Palette, NYX Cosmic Metals Eye Shadow Palette, LA Girl Fine Line Black Eyeliner, Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara

Face: e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation in Natural, essence Camouflage Full Coverage Liquid Concealer, Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder, essence matt bronzing powder in light, Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights, essence shine shine shine lip gloss in Happiness in a Bottle

The exhaustion is definitely much more visible in these pictures but the glow is still there so it definitely makes it look so much better. I love that despite the light and subtle eye look it still held up super duper well and was visibly still there. I have the wrinkles at the corners of my eyes but I think that makeup isn't going to fix it. Also when I smile in the bottom set of pictures you can see the tiredness under my eyes, but when my eyes are closed you can see that there is no creasing and the essence Camouflage Full Coverage Liquid Concealer is still doing such a great job hiding my under eye darkness. Love this concealer! The look for the day proved to me again how good makeup can make you feel when you are not feeling as good physically and that can by default make you feel so much better on the inside. The power of feeling good about yourself is real!
