If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Also follow me on Twitter @crrobb and on Instagram @cristinarobb1980 where I post about 4 times throughout the day.

Friday April 27th

I feel so bad that I didn't blog for two days straight but I have been so physically and mentally worn out that I just needed to take a bit of down time to myself to sleep, watch some YouTube (of course) and focus on trying to rejuvenate my body. Being a teacher this time of year is so tough mentally and physically and I am feeling it for sure. I have continued to keep my social media updated on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and that is possible thanks to an app/website called Buffer where you can schedule posts at the start of the day. I have also added a few random posts as inspiration strikes me.

Anyways I was so in love with my look on Friday. Purple is one of my two favorite colors and I have never received as many compliments as I did today on this eye look. LA Girl is definitely an inexpensive price point and the few things I have from them are really fantastic. I have their matte foundation which I love especially because I don't have to set it with powder, a fineline eyeliner and two eye shadow palettes which impress me the most because of how pigmented they are and easy to work with they are.

I also was so excited to get the right shade in my Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. I have been wanting to try the Tarte Shape Tape that I had been hearing so much about, but as a teacher I just have a hard time justifying spending the money if there is something of equal quality (no shade there). This concealer is fantastic and is definitely as some of the videos show just as good if not in my opinion better because of the price point than the Tarte concealer. I also really liked the Triple Baked Blush in Peachy Keen from Makeup Revolution because it was very subtle but gave me a glow that I just loved! I also continue to really really enjoy the e.l.f. highlighters because of how easy they are to work with and how well they blend and apply in addition to being buildable. They also work so well with products from other brands which is huge!

Eyes: Makeup Revolution Eye Primer, LA Girl Eye Lux Shadow Palette in Glamorize, NYX Matte Liquid Liner in Black, L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara in Black

Face: Maybelline Master Prime Hydrate + Smooth, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hr Breathable Foundation in Ivory, Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define in C5, Coty Airspun, Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Blush in Peachy Keen Heart, e.l.f. Bronzer in Sunkissed, e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Apricot Glow, Makeup Revolution Lip Geek Lipstick in Dare to be Different

Saturday April 28th

Makeup Revolution has really proven to be my go to brand as I have started purchasing products. That is not to say I don't enjoy other brands too, but I have enjoyed this brands products a ton. They have such a wide variety of products and I have been able to pick up so many of them on sale either at Ulta or on their Website. I used as many products of their that I could on today's look and I loved them. I want to add a primer and foundation to my collection from them so I could do a full face and see how it all holds up throughout the day. Maybe some time soon I can pick those things up!

Eyes: Makeup Revolution Eye Shadow Primer, Makeup Revolution Fortune Favors the Brave Eye Shadow Palette, Lorac Eyeliner Pencil Black, Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara

Face: Essence Fresh & Fit Primer, Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25HR Foundation, Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Bronzer in Hot Summer of Love, Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Blush in Peachy Keen, Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter, Makeup Revolution Lipstick
