***I am sorry that this post is going up so late! I was watching Dancing with the Stars with my family and when I went to try to update this morning the website was down!****
Monday April 30th

I was super excited to bust out my first Colourpop Palette that I got in my monthly Boxycharm and I was super excited. The only draw back to this particular palette is that it is all shimmers. I would have a hard time putting together a look without pulling in shadows from other palettes. I chose to use the PUR palette that I also got in my Boxycharm in March. I have been unsure how I feel about the PUR palette and after today and seeing it being used with another palette I will definitely say that I am not as big a fan of this palette as I was at first. It has great pigmentation and blends pretty well but there is a ton of fallout when I use it. This became more obvious when I was using it against the Colourpop one which has no fallout. The palette looks like I have used it a ton when I have only used it a handful of times because it kicks up so much powder. I will keep using it because the pigmentation is so good, but I would never recommend using it after putting on your face makeup or you will have flecks all over the place.
Most of these products are main stays and I love trying different combinations. I think that the e.l.f. bronzer and baked highlight go really well with the Makeup Revolution Blush which has a really nice glow and shine to it as well. This combo really made my skin glow! The only other change that I made is that I used the Butter London Double Decker Mascara that I got in my BoxyCharm. If I hadn't gotten this that way I would not purchase it. It goes on really nicely and looks good when you first apply it, but it doesn't really perform any differently than my favorite Essence Lash Princess Mascara and that is a fraction of the price! I have only worn the Double Decker a couple of times but lets see how it wears throughout the day.
Eyes: LA Girl Eye Shadow Primer Stick, Boxycharm and PUR Eye Shadow Palette, Colourpop Semi-Precious Eye Shadow Palette, LA Girl Fineline Eyeliner, Butter London Double Decker Mascara
Face: e.l.f. Mineral Infused Primer, LA Girl Pro Matte Foundation, Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define, Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Blush in Peachy Keen, e.l.f. Bronzer in Sunkissed, e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems, Palladio and Casey Holmes Liquid Matte Lipstick in Rescue, Lorac Alter Ego Lip Gloss in Barista

Okay my first instincts on the Double Decker Mascara held true. It flaked and got in my eyes making them itch and water. There was also some transfer to the under eye area. Some of this could have been made slightly worse due to the change in weather and allergies making my eyes sensitive even more so than usual. I would definitely recommend that you just go with the L'Oreal Lash Paradise and the Essence Lash Princess or Volume Stylist (?). The rest of the look held up well and I love the glow that my skin had with the LA Girl Foundation holding up so well and staying matte but still allowing the blush, bronzer and highlighter to give my skin a glow that wasn't oily at all.
Tuesday May 1st

I pulled back out my Milani 2 in 1 foundation today and I really love it! It can act as a concealer and while I didn't use it that way I do find that the few other times that I have used it I can use less concealer. I am still loving how the essence camouflage concealer goes on and a little goes a long way. I am thinking looking at these pictures that the bags/puffiness are still there but the darkness and discoloration is not. I have been super drained and tired due to the school year approaching its end so I am accepting the bags as something that I will have to be okay with to a point. The other thing that I really loved about this look is that the combo of the Makeup Revolution Peachy Keen Blush and the Physcians Formula was awesome. The glow and sparkle was clearly there but there was no chunky glitter and everything blended really nicely.
The only product that hasn't been a staple of my collection and makeup routine is the Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara. I got this mini in an Birchbox and I wasn't sure how I felt about it to be honest. I had seen a lot of mixed reviews on YouTube and there was some not so positive comments about it. I love how my eye lashes looked after applying although the mini had the drawbacks of having a super short wand that was almost completely taken up by the brush. This made it much more difficult to apply the mascara, but it looked good after application so I am feeling positive about it.
Eyes: Makeup Revolution Eye Shadow Primer, Makeup Revolution Love Conquers All Eye Shadow Palette, Lorac Eyeliner Pencil, Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara
Face: Essence Fresh and Fit Primer, Milani 2 in 1 Conceal and Perfect, Coty Airspun, Essence Matt Bronzer Powder in Light, Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Blush in Peachy Keen, Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter in Champagne, e.l.f. setting spray, e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose

The glow remains! I am loving how the combination of various products with this Peachy Keen blush is really enhancing the overall glow of my skin. You can definitely tell that it is still there but it isn't super obvious either. It looks pretty natural and enhances things without making it look like I shellaced my face. The mascara is a pass for me. I like it and will use it up, but it did flake some and again I have found so many great mascaras that are much lower priced so mascara is definitely not something that I can see myself spending higher end prices for.
