If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Also follow me on Twitter @crrobb and on Instagram @cristinarobb1980 where I post about 4 times throughout the day.

Today's look was such a disaster at first. I naively found myself assuming that the Wet n Wild palette wouldn't have a ton of pigmentation due to the price (I know I should know better by now). While working on my eye look I used the darker transition shade and didn't tap off my brush and applied it and made such a mess. I tried to save it and it really did blend out well, but I had to get a makeup wipe and start over. That again shows me that you really can't judge a product by its price! After starting over it turned out so much more nicely than my first attempt. I used one of my top two mascaras, L'Oreal Lash Paradise, and I do love it a lot and again it is at a lower price point. I really don't think spending more money on high end mascara is necessary because there are so many great drug store options.
I really love the elf foundation and haven't been using it a ton but I will continue to use it in a rotation with my other foundations. It does benefit from being set with a powder, but if you were to skip that step, which I have done before, it really does look quite nice. The Makeup Revolution conceal and define is fantastic and as I learn more about it I am using a little less and still getting the same amount of coverage. It really doesn't require a lot of product to get the job done. I also love the Physicians Formula products and they recently released the Butter Collection palette which has a bronzer, blush and 2 new highlighter shades and I definitely intend to go pick one up. There products are great and natural looking and can be built up for a more dramatic look...plus they smell great. I also so need to get more of the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters in another shade because they are super vibrant. They do kick up some powder but it isnt too bad at all!
Eyes: elf Lid Lock Eye Shadow Primer, Wet n Wild Eye Shadow Palette in Nude Awakening, Lorac Eye Liner Pencil in Black, L'Oreal Lash Paradise
Face: Maybelline Master Prime in Hydrate and Smooth, elf Foundation, Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define, Coty Airspun, Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze, Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Natural Glow, Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlight in Radiant Lights, Lipsense in Beige Champagne

So the look held up well, but the bottom pictures don't show up how well they did turn out. I wasn't feeling well and had some crying and so some portions of the makeup ran and rubbed away but the top pictures definitely show that the products that I use have some staying power. I really do like this L'Oreal Lash Paradise, but I am still loving my Essence Lash Princess mascara more. I am so excited for a small order from Essence to come in because I ordered two more of their mascaras and two of the new shades in their highlighter that I love so much. I will share those with you as soon as they come in!
So last Thursday I was super excited when my Makeup Revolution order came in. Imagine my surprise when despite being wrapped extremely well the 1,000,000 Palette came broken and a mess. I was so sad because the palette looked so gorgeous. I contacted them and they were quick to say they would send me a replacement! Less than a week later the replacement came in and it is beautiful. I am so excited to use it tomorrow and now know that not only does Makeup Revolution have great products but they also have great customer service. If you haven't tried one of their products out you are missing out and I highly recommend you try something of theirs...they are found at Ulta and on their website!
