I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Today’s look was another one that I was pretty excited about because I was going to use my second Bad Habit palettes that I got from Shop Hush. A few additional observations….
The shadow is VERY soft so don’t apply too much pressure
The shimmer shades appear to be especially soft and apply best with a finger or damp shadow brush
I love the gold based eye look that I came up with for today. Even though it is a ton of shimmer and sparkle because it is gold it seems a bit more subtle and natural. When it is a darker shimmer it is much more in your face. I paired the gold with a brown on the outer corner and in the crease which helped ground the look and not make it seem like one big glitter bomb which I wouldn’t mind but I think my students might find distracting. I also used the Wet n Wild Bronzer and Highlighter that I just purchased and I love them! The highlighter is especially easy to work with and leaves a glow and beam of light on my cheeks that stays all day long! I used it again as my inner corner highlight and that brings a brightness to my eyes that is definitely missing at the end of the year.

The look held up so well and I loved it! I wasn't sure how I felt about it and that it was going to be too much for my students. I got so many compliments and I was shocked at not only how well a shimmery shade like the gold I used held up, but how natural it really looked. These Bad Habit palettes from Shop Hush are really high quality for inexpensive "dupe" style palettes and I would definitely try some more Bad Habit palettes.
I also wanted to provide an update to the brands I want to try post that I made this weekend. I had been thinking I forgot a brand and turned the page in my spiral of notes and realized I had left out DOSE OF COLORS! I have been loving their what I call “ombre” palettes, but I started to see some amazing single eye shadows of theirs on Trendmood and I fell in love. They are so bright and vibrant and pigmented and the list of adjectives goes on and on … and that is just based on the pictures. I hope that I can get some of these to try and share with you guys soon! I also am super intrigued by the lip colors and they seem just as pigmented and high quality as the awesome eye shadows.
