If you want to see more of my blogs don't forget to subscribe on the home page. I would totally appreciate your support and it would help me get out there for more people to see my thoughts and learn to enjoy makeup as much as I do. Also follow me on Twitter @crrobb and on Instagram @cristinarobb1980 where I post about 4 times throughout the day.
Today I was so excited to be able to use some of my new products. I hadn't worn any makeup all weekend because I have been home with a sick kiddo. He had finally seemed to be feeling better so I was all pumped (weird I know) to get up early, get ready and head out the door. I had been in my classroom no more than 15-20 minutes when I got a call from my husband that my son had woken up with a fever and needed to stay home so I had to turn around and leave work so I have been laying with him snuggling in my bed watching YouTube and Unsolved Mysteries. I did upload a video on my social media showing my look after 8 hours and the picture on the right is after 12 hours. I love makeup and doing it so I wanted to take advantage of the fact that I was at home and do a video for something a bit different that I don't do with every daily look.
Anyways I was debating using an entire face of Makeup Revolution which I would have been able to do (minus mascara, setting powder, and face primer) but I wanted to use a few of my newer products which aren't all Makeup Revolution. I am hoping to pick up those few things that I am missing from Makeup Revolution so I can do a full face of their products. I did use the Makeup Revolution foundation stick and concealer as well as the SophX Eye Shadow palette and I loved so much how those products worked out. I initially bought the foundation stick to try and maybe get a higher end one like the Hourglass or PUR one and now I am not in as much of a hurry to do that. The shadow palette is also one that I am enjoying after the first use but I did not expect anything less because I have loved their other palettes I have used. This one has a better mix of neutrals and colors so you have more options for transition and blending shades.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the BH Cosmetics blush! I have two BH palettes that I really enjoy so I wanted to try a different type of product from them. This blush is gorgeous in the pan with the flower image and the blending/yet separated press of the two colors. I swipe through both colors and love how it adds a bit of dimension to my cheeks. I may have to pick up the other two colors they have in this style and try their foundation as well which I have seen some great reviews. I also enjoy the Wet n Wild bronzer and highlighter which are great values for the price and that you can build up if you want a super pigmented look.
